The Drone Association Thailand has been following the Hong Kong Sports Federation, which is set to host a new sports event, the "Hong Kong Dragon Cup Drone Soccer Championship 2024," at the Kai Tak Auditorium on October 12, 2024, in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
This competition applies unmanned aerial vehicles in the format of soccer, divided into team events with 3 members per team and individual events with a time trial. The event will take place between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The competition is open to athletes both domestically and internationally.This is a highly significant competition as it serves as a selection event for the World Championship in 2025, supported by the Hong Kong government agencies.
