History of the Association
The Drone Association of Thailand was founded by a group of experts and enthusiasts passionate about drone technology. Its mission is to drive development and promote the use of drones across various industries, including agriculture, rescue operations, and aerial photography. The association is committed to enhancing the efficiency and safety of drone usage in Thailand for a sustainable and progressive society.
Objectives
- Promote beneficial use of free time among youth and people with disabilities, keeping them away from drugs
- Organize activities to promote physical health and prevent Alzheimer's disease among the elderly
- Promote and develop drone usage; the association is committed to supporting efficient and safe drone use by enhancing knowledge and understanding of drones
- Organize drone competitions and training at all levels, both domestically and internationally
- Promote development and research of unmanned systems on land, air, water, and space within Thailand, such as UAVs, UUVs, autonomous electric vehicles (UGVs), and space drones (USVs)
- Promote activities related to unmanned systems both in Thailand and internationally
- Promote knowledge dissemination to develop national personnel skilled in unmanned systems such as aerial drones, ground drones, underwater drones, and space drones
- Act as a liaison between Thai unmanned system users and government agencies to resolve issues and initiate policies that promote development in these areas within Thailand
- Conduct or collaborate with charitable and public benefit organizations for philanthropy and public good
- Not involved in any political activities
