The Drone Association Thailand and over 10 other countries will gather to compete in the Drone Fight World Championship, an exciting new sport held in Japan! Connecting the world with small drones, ready for explosive fun on February 23, 2025 (Mount Fuji Day).
Get ready for drone competitions from 10 Over ten countries worldwide, including Japan, USA, Austria, New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Nepal, and Brazil, will join the competition. 1st Drone Fight World Championship This exciting competition will use palm-sized drones to hit targets within a designated range, connecting various locations in Japan and abroad online, aiming to create unprecedented international exchange opportunities.
This tournament will be held in the format of Hybrid Combining online and offline formats, this intense competition will be live-streamed on YouTube to over 300 viewers at more than 30 locations nationwide, with players selected from international qualifiers gathering online to compete in fierce battles.
“Drone Fight” is gaining popularity and attracting attention as a new form of entertainment that anyone can easily enjoy. Be amazed by the competition that combines skills and strategies in drone piloting.

Location Recommendation
The World Championship will hold preliminary rounds at each location, and selected representatives will participate online via Zoom. There are venues with diverse backgrounds, and we would like to recommend some locations.
This event will be held on February 23, designated by Shizuoka Prefecture as “Mount Fuji Day.” Mojizuki, a drone business operator in Fuji City, Shizuoka, has organized the “Drone Fight Shizuoka Cup.”
On February 23 last year, he was the main sponsor of the World Championship and will work with his team from Fuji City to aim for victory in the World Championship.
Mr. Toyoda, representative of PYC Drone School in Nagoya, gathered members from Korea and Brazil and entered two qualifying venues, each comprising members from respective countries. We hope that participating in the World Championship will promote cross-border exchange and friendship through drones.
Mr. Ohm, living in Phuket, teaches Robotech to children. He was looking for a drone sport that his students could enjoy to get them interested in Robotech. He found Drone Fight on the internet and contacted the headquarters of the Drone Fight Association via SNS. After learning the details of the World Championship, he decided to participate from Phuket.
Mr. Tominaga learned about drone fighting in a community and participated in a trial event. After that, he moved to Auckland and started a restaurant called Washokku to promote Japanese cuisine. Mr. Tominaga held a trial event there and selected participants! He aims to win a prize in the World Championship from New Zealand.
Mr. Kamakura, an independent school staff member in Suzaka City, discovered drone fighting through a local drone experience event and began participating as an organizer. The drone competition can be joined from the classroom to make it easy for students to participate, while also helping to build the self-esteem of well-performing children.
Jupiter Ariake Drone School in Nagasu is the strongest venue, with three of the top four players from last year registered. It also attracts attention as a community, with senior players actively mentoring newcomers. It has produced winners in every tournament and aims to win the first international championship.
The karaoke bar “New Olive” in Idogaya, Yokohama, learned about drone fighting two years ago and introduced it to their bar. They often enjoy karaoke in the bar’s golf hitting area. This time, they will face the challenge of the World Championship while having fun with regular customers and locals.
